The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a flatbed lorry to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service. Candidates must possess valid driving credentials and have previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle, including flatbed lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies Load and unload goods, ensuring securement of cargo during transit Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules and optimise efficiency Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues during deliveries Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar equipment Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and valid HGV Class 2 licence Excellent knowledge of road ..... full job details .....
