This is a physically active role and candidates must be comfortable with both driving and loading duties. This is not a pure driving role. Drivers are expected to support the collection crew throughout the day and assist with waste and recycling collections where required. The Role Working as part of a collection team, you will be responsible for the safe collection of household and commercial waste and recycling materials across the local area. Duties include: Driving Class 2 refuse and recycling collection vehicles Assisting with loading duties throughout the shift Working alongside loaders and operational teams Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting Following planned collection routes Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently Maintaining high standards of customer service Working outdoors in all weather conditions Following all health and safety procedures Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence Valid CPC Qualification Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 2 d...
