HGV Class 2 Driver

Overview We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and delivery services, possessing the necessary skills to excel in this role. Responsibilities - Drive a Class C vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to customers- Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip- Load and unload goods from the vehicle- Maintain accurate delivery records- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies Skills - Proficient in driving a Class C vehicle- Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous- Familiarity with flatbed vehicles is a plus- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Full Driving Licence (no more than 3 points) and 2yrs experience- CPC Driver Certificate of Professional Competence- Valid Digital Tachograph Card- FORS Training an advantage, but training will be given- Experience driving large, similar vehicles in a proven similar role.Job Type: PermanentPay: £30,500.00-£36,000.00 per yearExperience: Driving: 2 years (preferred)Language: English (preferred)Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred) Driver CPC (preferred)Work Location: In ..... full job details .....
