Class 2 Driver (Temp to Perm) Northampton Competitive + Overtime Available Our client, a well-established and growing drinks distribution business, is looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver on a Temp to Perm basis to support their busy delivery operation in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver seeking stable, long-term employment with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. The Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of drinks products to pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, and other licensed trade customers across the region. This is a physically demanding role involving multi-drop deliveries, manual handling, and regular customer interaction. Key Responsibilities Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects. Completing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently. Delivering products to pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality customers. Loading and unloading stock using appropriate handling equipment. Ensuring deliveries are accurate and completed on time. Collecting kegs, casks, empties, and other returnable items. Maintaining high levels of customer service and professionalism. Completing delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery records. Complying with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and Tachograph legislation. Supporting depot and warehouse operations when required.
