Hgv Class 2 Driver

Do you have at least 3 months experience driving a  Class 2 HGV ? Are you looking for permanent tramping work in the Leeds area?

We are currently recruiting 1 x Class 2 Driver for our client based in Sherburn (LS25).

Our client is a well-known company who currently have vacancies on their Thursday to Sunday tramping shifts.

As a Class 2 HGV Driver you will be expected to complete 10+ drops a day, dropping at customers houses. You will have a driver’s mate to help with the handballing.

Vehicles consist of curtain siders and box trailers with tail lifts. As such previous experience operating these types of vehicles is preferable.

Shift pattern: Start time between 4 AM - 6 AM, 8-10 hours per day, Thursday to Sunday tramping with an optional night in a hotel during your shifts.

Pay: PAYE, Paid weekly, £17 per hour once you go permanent, plus a night out allowance of up to £50 per night.

Start date: as soon as Possible.

Requirements

• Held CAT B (or above) driving licence entitlement for at least 12 months
• Minimum 3 months experience driving HGV's
• Up to date CPC and Tach cards
• Up to 6 penalty points on licence
• We do not accept any drink or drug endorsements
• Able to commit to full time work.
