HGV class 2 driver

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client''s team on an ad-hoc, part-time basis. This role is ideal for drivers seeking flexible shifts while earning competitive pay. You''ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods, adhering to all driving regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle in a safe and compliant manner.

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.

• Deliver and collect goods as required, ensuring accurate documentation.

• Maintain professionalism when interacting with clients and team members.

• Ensure loads are secure and comply with health & safety regulations.

• Follow route plans efficiently and report any delays or incidents.

Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

• Up-to-date CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.

• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience preferred.

• Good knowledge of local and regional road networks.

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work on an ad-hoc basis, sometimes with short notice.

20 hours per week 07:30 -17:30
