HGV Class 2 Driver

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to work with an established logistics business based in Oldham, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Our client operates a busy distribution operation offering a mix of multidrop and distance delivery work, with consistent Monday to Friday hours and overtime available.

What''s on offer?

• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday, 6am starts with an average 3pm finish
• -15 to -16 per hour (-16.81 to -17.93 inclusive of holiday pay)
• Overtime is readily available

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing a mix of multidrop and longer distance deliveries
• Offloading deliveries by manual handling and forklift
• Completing all delivery paperwork and documentation accurately
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times

To be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 1 year''s driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
• Good physical fitness due to the manual handling element of the role
