Location: Widnes Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Ongoing Pay: 16.63 per hour ( 18.63 including holiday pay) Overtime: Time and a half for hours worked over 48 hours per week Shift Pattern: 4 on / 3 off Experience: Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience required The Role We are currently recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers for an ongoing store delivery contract based in Widnes. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent hours and a 4-on/3-off shift pattern. You will be responsible for delivering goods to stores across the UK. No tramping is involved, and drivers will return home after their shifts. Shift Details Day shifts: Start times between 12am and 6am Night shifts: Start times between 2pm and 8pm Shift length: Up to 12 hours Guaranteed minimum: 48 hours per week Shift pattern: 4 days on / 3 days off Weekends: Included Night rate: Same pay as day shifts Overtime: Time and a half after 48 hours No tramping Duties Delivering to retail stores across the UK Completing multiple store deliveries during each shift Handling roll cages rather than pallets Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time Providing professional customer service at delivery locations What We''re Looking For Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence Minimum 6 months'' Class 2 driving experience Good knowledge of UK roads Reliable and punctual Professional attitude Comfortable with store deliveries and handling roll cages Apply now for ..... full job details .....
