HGV Class 2 Driver / Bitumen Sprayer

Highway maintenance Company requires an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to operate specialist resurfacing equipment which is lorry mounted. Key Responsibilities Operate bitumen sprayer tankers safely and efficiently. Carry out bond coat, tack coat and surface dressing applications to specification. Drive HGV vehicles to and from customer sites across the UK. Complete daily vehicle and plant inspections. Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Accurately complete job sheets, delivery paperwork and defect reports. Work closely with site supervisors and surfacing teams. Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures and client requirements. Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping and presentation of vehicles and equipment. Represent Mackness Contracting professionally whilst on customer sites. Essential Requirements HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence. Valid Driver CPC. Digital Tachograph Card. CSCS Card. Good understanding of highways maintenance and road surfacing operations. Willingness to work days, nights and occasional weekends. Flexible attitude and able to work nationwide when required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Desirable Previous experience operating bitumen sprayers. Experience in road surfacing or highway maintenance. NHSS Passport. Safety Critical Medical. CPCS/NPORS Plant qualifications. HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence. ADR qualification (advantageous but not essential). What We Offer ..... full job details .....
