HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver 18T Curtain Side Self-Employed ABM Express Ltd is looking for a reliable and professional Self-Employed HGV Class 2 Driver to drive an 18T curtain-side vehicle. This is an ongoing Monday to Friday contract, involving general haulage, collections and deliveries across the UK. Up to 4 nights out per week may be required depending on workload and delivery locations. Pay and Working Pattern £180 per day Up to £900 per week Monday to Friday Weekly payments Self-employed contract Daily rate includes nights out Immediate start available Main Duties Driving an 18T curtain-side vehicle safely and professionally Completing collections and deliveries across the UK Carrying out daily vehicle checks Securing loads correctly Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining PODs Keeping in contact with the transport office regarding deliveries, delays or issues Following Drivers Hours, Working Time and tachograph regulations Reporting vehicle defects promptly Taking reasonable care of the vehicle and equipment Representing ABM Express professionally when dealing with customers Requirements Full UK Category C / Class 2 licence Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card Good knowledge of UK roads Curtain-side experience preferred Good understanding of load securing Reliable and punctual Professional attitude with customers Comfortable with UK-wide work Comfortable with up to 4 nights out per week when required As this is a ..... full job details .....
