HGV Class 1 Driver – Days

Vanta Staffing are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a variety of clients across the Slough and Reading areas.

We have temporary day work available, with opportunities across a range of transport and logistics operations. Whether you are looking for regular ongoing work or additional shifts to fit around your availability, we would like to hear from you.

• Valid Category C+E driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence
• No DR or IN convictions
• Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work

• Day shifts available
• Monday to Friday opportunities
• Slough and Reading areas
• Temporary and ongoing assignments available
• Various start times depending on assignment
• Competitive hourly rates depending on the client and assignment

Depending on the assignment, duties may include:

• Completing allocated delivery and collection routes
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Following Drivers'' Hours, Working Time and health & safety regulations
• Representing our clients professionally while on the road
