Job Description

As an HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E), you will:

• Complete deliveries to distribution centres (RDCs).
• Carry out RDC-to-RDC trunking work.
• Ensure goods are transported safely, efficiently, and on time.

This is clean and straightforward Class 1 trunking and RDC delivery work, ideal for drivers seeking stable, ongoing work with competitive rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Class 1 deliveries to distribution centres.
• Carry out RDC-to-RDC trunking work.
• Conduct vehicle checks and ensure all compliance procedures are completed.
• Manage delivery paperwork and tachograph records.
• Follow all health & safety and transport regulations.
• Maintain professional standards of driving and customer service.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E).
• Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 / RDC delivery / tramping experience preferred but newly passed drivers will be considered.
• Good understanding of UK driving laws and compliance.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
