HGV Class 1 Technician

ECHO Personnel is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Technician for one of our clients based in Corby. Our client is a fast-growing transport company delivering reliable, high-quality logistics services.As an HGV Class 1 Technician, you''ll be responsible for maintaining and servicing the company''s fleet to ensure all vehicles are safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance. You''ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by carrying out inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to a high standard.Key Responsibilities:Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGV Class 1 vehiclesPerform diagnostics to identify faults and ensure efficient resolutionConduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and complianceMaintain accurate service and repair recordsEnsure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulationsMinimise vehicle downtime through proactive maintenanceWork closely with the operations team to keep the fleet running efficientlyRequirements:Minimum 2 years'' experience in a similar HGV mechanic/technician role preferredStrong knowledge of HGV Class 1 vehicles, maintenance, and repair proceduresExperience with diagnostics and fault findingGood attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong commitment to health and safety standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and hardworkingAdditional Advantage:Experience carrying out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI) is highly ..... full job details .....
