HGV Class 1 Steel Driver - KingswinfordPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Steel Driver to join our well-established client based in Kingswinford, West Midlands.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver.Shifts:• Monday to Friday • Start times between 04:00 - 07:00Rates of Pay:• £17.50 - £19.00 per hour (DOE)Benefits:As a HGV Class 1 Steel Driver, you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • On-site canteen • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties:As a HGV Class 1 Steel Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):• Delivering steel products (previous steel experience is mandatory) • Operating and driving Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management • Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as requiredEssential Skills:As a HGV Class 1 Steel Driver, you will need:• Valid UK Category CE driving licence • A minimum of 18 months'' experience driving Category CE vehicles • Valid UK Driver ..... full job details .....
