Hgv Class 1 Night Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Preston area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on nights.-

Shifts Schedule:-Monday to Friday-

Start Times:-15:00pm - 19:00pm starts-

Pay Rates:-

Between 6am to 10pm - -17.24 per hour PAYE rising to -17.75 after 12 weeks-

Between 10pm - 6am - -18.25 per hour PAYE-

Location:-Preston, PR2-

Job Type: Ongoing-

The role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels.
• Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.
• Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.-

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
