HGV Class 1 Night Driver Location: BirminghamPay rate: £18.50 per hourStart times: Between 3:00pm and approximately 7:30pmThe Recruitment Group is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for straightforward night trunking work based in Birmingham.This position involves refrigerated trunking between locations, with no loading or unloading required. It would suit a reliable Class 1 Driver looking for uncomplicated A-to-B driving and regular evening or night starts.Key responsibilities Completing refrigerated Class 1 trunking runsDriving safely between designated collection and delivery pointsCarrying out vehicle checks before and after each shiftCompleting all required paperwork accuratelyFollowing planned routes and delivery schedulesComplying with drivers hours and Working Time regulationsReporting any delays, defects or incidents promptlyMaintaining professional standards while representing the client The ideal candidate You will need: A valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 licenceA valid Driver CPC qualificationA valid Digital Tachograph CardPrevious Class 1 driving experienceA good understanding of drivers hours and tachograph regulationsA reliable and professional approachThe ability to work evening and night shiftsAn acceptable driving record, subject to licence checks Previous refrigerated or trunking experience would be helpful, although the uncomplicated nature of the work may suit drivers from a range of Class 1 backgrounds.What the role offers £18.50 per ..... full job details .....
