HGV Class 1 Low Loader Driver and Plant Operator

Are you an experienced Class 1 Low Loader Driver with plant operating experience looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing and reputable business?We are recruiting for a permanent HGV Class 1 Low Loader Driver / Plant Operator to support the transportation and operation of a wide range of plant and access equipment across multiple customer sites.Working Hours and PayMonday to Friday6:30am - 4:30pm£20.00 - £24.00 per hourAbout the RoleThis is a varied position combining professional driving duties with the operation of plant and access equipment. You''ll be responsible for the safe transportation of machinery between locations, ensuring all loads are secured correctly and delivered efficiently.Main DutiesDriving HGV Class 1 low loader vehiclesCollecting and delivering plant and access equipmentLoading, unloading and securing machinery for transportOperating mini diggers, dumpers and other small plant equipmentOperating powered access equipment where requiredCarrying out daily vehicle, trailer and equipment inspectionsMaintaining high standards of health and safety at all timesProviding excellent service to customers on siteDepot LocationsThe company operates from two strategic hubs, with one depot based in Chertsey and a second depot located further north through Hertfordshire.Drivers have the flexibility to start and finish their day from either location, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates based anywhere between the two hubs.
