Yusen Logistics is looking for reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our automotive logistics operation in Derby.

If you''re looking for regular weekday work, consistent routes and a role with no handballing, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled milk runs within the automotive industry, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

You''ll benefit from driving the same route each shift, giving you the opportunity to become familiar with your journey and enjoy a more consistent working routine.

What We Offer

• £17.73 per hour for day shifts.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Consistent routes – the same route each shift.
• No handballing involved – allowing you to focus on driving and completing your scheduled runs.
• Advance notice of shift changes – shift times may vary slightly from week to week, but any changes will be communicated a couple of weeks in advance.
• The opportunity to work with an established logistics provider in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled automotive milk runs in line with delivery and collection requirements.
• Transport loads safely and securely.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
• Follow driving regulations, road safety requirements and company procedures.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork where required.
• Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel.

What We''re Looking For

• A valid Category C+E driving licence of over 1 year. 
• A valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• A strong commitment to road safety and compliance.
• The ability to follow scheduled routes and work independently.
