HGV Class 1 Driver (CE) Location: Thrapston, Northamptonshire Salary: Competitive Salary (DOE) + Overtime Available Job Type: Full Time Permanent About the Role We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (Category CE) HGV Drivers to join our growing HGV Fleet operation based in Thrapston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established commercial vehicle business operating a modern fleet. The role involves the safe collection, delivery and movement of HGVs and trailers, supporting workshop operations, customer requirements and fleet movements across the UK. Key ResponsibilitiesSafely transport HGVs and trailers between customer sites, workshops and depots.Carry out daily vehicle walk-round inspections and defect reporting.Ensure vehicles are delivered safely, professionally and on time.Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic POD documentation accurately.Comply with Drivers'' Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations.Maintain excellent customer service standards at all collection and delivery points.Report vehicle defects or operational issues promptly.Keep vehicles clean and presentable while in your care.RequirementsFull UK Class 1 (Category CE) Driving Licence.Valid Driver CPC qualification.Digital Tachograph Card.Good knowledge of Drivers'' Hours and Tachograph legislation.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach.Minimum of 12 months'' Class 1 driving experience preferred, ..... full job details .....
