HGV Class 1 Drivers

Job Description:
Pertemps are currently hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team based in Hatfield.

💰 Pay Rates:

• Monday – Friday: £21.40 p/h | OT: £26.00 p/h
  
  
• Saturday & Sunday: £25.27 p/h | OT: £30.50 p/h
  
  
• Overtime is paid after 46.25 hours worked per week.
  
  

📅 Guaranteed Work:
If you can commit to Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday shift patterns, you will be guaranteed work from now until the end of December 2025.

What you will be doing:

• Shift start times: (7am – 10am) or (12pm – 10pm)
  
  
• A mix of store deliveries in central London and trunking to depots
  
  
• Manual handling required
  
  
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive
  
  
• Comply with all health & safety, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations
  
  

What you will need:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C E) Licence
  
  
• Driver CPC Qualification
  
  
• Digital Tachograph Card
  
  
• Minimum 6 months’ driving experience
  
  
• Complete a driver assessment and two-day induction
