About the Role

A temporary, full-time HGV Class 1 Driver position is available in Biggar, paying £20 per hour. The role involves trunking, changeovers, and operating frozen, container, flatbed, and local vehicles. Candidates need a valid UK Class 1 licence with a minimum of 12 months of experience, a current DCPC and Digi Card, and at least 180 days on their tachograph card. A clean licence with no more than six points and no DD, DR, CD, TT, or IN endorsements is required, alongside the ability to complete manual entries and reverse competently. Shift start times vary. The role offers weekly pay, accrued holiday pay, pension access, and 24/7 consultant support.

Start Times: <04:00 - 07:00 or <17:00
Licence: Class 1
Experience: 12 months Class 1 experience

Requirements:

A valid UK Class 1 Licence with at least 12 months experience
At least 180 days on your card
A current UK Driver DCPC card and a valid Digi Card

Must be able to complete a manual entry
Must be able to reverse
