HGV Class 1 Driver

We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Days will be container work from the docks to customers and nights will be trailer swaps. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving modern HGV 1 (C +E) vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety. Duties Safely operate an HGV Class 1 ( C+E)truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies Trailer sawps of general Haulage ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs and container work from the port Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety. Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations. Qualifications Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license with a clean driving record Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members Knowledge of health and safety standards Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability No more than 6 points No DD, DR and IN10 Endorsements showing Mon to Fri - Various day and night start times some weekend work may be available Pay rates: Monday to Friday .00 day rate up to 12 hours.
