HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description Experienced Class 1 Drivers We are looking for experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers for our client based at Guyhirn, Cambs. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of ambient palletised food products nationwide. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough daily vehicle walk around checks reporting any defects Ensure all loads are sufficiently secured before transportation Carry out deliveries and any collection(s) as instructed by the Transport Team Communicate any delays to the Transport Office Operate vehicles safely and efficiently Complete all delivery paperwork accurately Essential Requirements: Full UK driving licence, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card Minimum of 2 years'' Class 1 commercial driving experience Sound understanding of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Flexible with working hours Well-presented and professional Schedule: Monday - Friday with typical start times of between 4am to 6am, although this may differ slightly depending on customer requirements. There is some opportunity for weekend work.
