The role is focused on clean, efficient depot-to-depot trunking work between major hubs in the Stoke, Milton Keynes, Glasgow and Bristol areas. This position involves minimal physical handling of freight. To fully support you during this short-term deployment, premium hotel accommodation (including daily breakfast and an additional meal), a daily subsistence allowance, travel mileage coverage, and a substantial weekly relocation bonus are provided. Key Responsibilities Trunking Operations: Safely transport loads from one designated depot to another. Timetable Adherence: Complete scheduled hub-to-hub drop-offs on time to maintain network efficiency. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting defects immediately.
