HGV Class 1 Driver Hatfield Trunking - Depot to Depot Day Pay Rates - £19.83 per hour increasing to £22.22 per hour after 12 weeks Night Pay Rates - £23.80 per hour increasing to £26.67 per hour after 12 weeks 6th Day Pay Rates - £39.67 per hour increasing to £44.45 per hour Overtime available after 12 weeks of service Average shift length is 8 to 10 hours Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 experience required UK Registered HGV License, CPC card and Tacho card PAYE ONLY The Role A national company is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join its busy transport team located in Hatfield. Duties Primarily trunking from depot to depot Deliver parcels/Packages to designated depot to depot locations in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of customer service. Operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety and operational efficiency. Qualifications Valid UK HGV Class 1 driving license with the appropriate categories for commercial driving.
