HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Plant Driver Location: Beccles Salary: £40,000 £45,000 DOE Hours: Monday Friday 7:00am 5:00pm We re recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy and supportive team based in Beccles. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to work with a wide range of plant and specialist vehicles while playing a key part in keeping operations moving across the region. The Role You ll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of plant equipment and vehicles, both locally and between depots. Key Duties Include: Delivering and collecting plant machinery using low loadersCompleting daily vehicle and machine checksShunting and organising vehicles within the yardTransporting vehicles between depotsCollecting new vehicles from body builders What We re Looking For Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licenceCPC and Digital Tachograph cardGood knowledge of the local areaFlexible, proactive, and reliable approach to work Working Hours Monday to Friday, 7:00am 5:00pm Salary and Benefits £40,000 £45,000 per year (depending on experience higher end being for low loader)23 days paid holiday per year, including bank holidaysVaried and active role with a wide range of plant and specialist vehicles If you re an experienced Class 1 driver looking for a stable, full-time role with variety, we d love to hear from you.
