HGV Class 1 Driver

Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver for a well-established client within the freight industry who specialise in providing bespoke logistic solutions to their clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the UK, with occasional trips to various European destinations. This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and detail-oriented driver to work with a well-established logistics company, ensuring that deliveries are made efficiently and on schedule. Position: Class 1 Driver Salary: £38,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Maybe required in early or work late on occasions) Location: Stanwell Key Responsibilities of Driver Class 1: Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle, ensuring the secure and efficient delivery of goods across the UK and Europe. Ensure all deliveries are completed within the designated timeframes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct regular vehicle checks, ensuring that the vehicle is maintained in good working order, and report any issues promptly. Complete all necessary delivery and vehicle documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain clear communication with the logistics team and customers, providing updates on delivery progress and any potential delays.
