About the Role
Based in Knottingley, this HGV Class 1 Driver position offers varied shift choices with pay from £18.07 to £28.77 per hour. This temporary, full-time or part-time role suits drivers holding a C+E licence for over six months. Your duties involve trunking to regional distribution centres and performing vehicle checks. You can select day patterns starting between 03:00 and 11:00, or night shifts from 15:00 to 21:00. Weekend work is required across a Thursday-to-Monday or Friday-to-Tuesday rota. Applicants need a digital tachograph card, a clean licence with no DR10, CD10, or IN10 endorsements, and a maximum of six points. A proactive approach is essential.

Ferrybridge
£18.07 per hour – £28.77 per hour.
Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Ferrybridge. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.
Responsibilities will include:
- Trunking to RDCS
- Vehicle checks
- Shift patterns to cover weekend working – Thursday - Monday or Friday - Tuesday.
Days
- Days: 18.07 per hour - £27.10 over time after 8 hours
- £22.66ph weekend
- Start times 03:00 – 11:00
Nights
- Nights: £19.18 per hour - £28.77 overtime after 8 hours
- £22.66ph weekend
- Start times 15:00 – 21:00
We are looking for Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday.
The ideal candidate.
- Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 6 months
- “Can do” attitude
- No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
- Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
