About the Role
Rapier Employment is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for a long-term temporary contract at our busy client in Knottingley. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of £19.18, rising to £28.77 for overtime. The position primarily involves trunking to RDCs, conducting vehicle checks, and adhering to a night shift pattern. Successful candidates will work either Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday, with start times between 15:00 and 21:00. Applicants must hold a valid HGV C+E licence for at least six months, possess a Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification, and have no more than six penalty points. A proactive approach is essential, and candidates must have no DR10, CD10, or IN10 endorsements.

Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Ferrybridge. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.
Responsibilities will include:
- Trunking to RDCS
- Vehicle checks
- Shift patterns to cover weekend working – Thursday - Monday or Friday - Tuesday.
Nights
- Nights: £19.18 per hour - £28.77 overtime after 8 hours
- £22.66ph weekend
- Start times 15:00 – 21:00
We are looking for Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday.
The ideal candidate.
- Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 6 months
- “Can do” attitude
- No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
- Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
