HGV Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Tramper required. Between two and four nights out a week. Candidate must have good communication skills with customers and have a positive attitude. All work is curtain-sider. Must have experience. Must hold a full UK clean license and Driver CPC Qualification. Salary is negotiable to the right candidate. Summary As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, reporting directly to the logistics manager. This role requires a valid CE Licence and strong communication skills to ensure smooth operations. Your core skills in driving and commercial driving will be essential, while your premium flatbed experience will enhance your versatility. Additionally, your relevant background as a delivery driver will contribute to timely and reliable service, making you a vital asset to our logistics team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules. Utilize flatbed trailers when required, ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo.
