Pure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting for reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to help support our busy customer in the Telford area. Our customer will be looking for someone to be able to start immediately and have up to x5 drivers available on an ongoing basis. To be a successful HGV Class 1 Driver for this role you will require:UK Category C+E license for minimum 1 yearsMinimum of 6 months UK driving experienceNo more than 6 penalty pointsGood level of communicationGood knowledge of UK roadsFlexible working attitudeThe role for an HGV Class 1 Driver:Safely load, transport, and deliver palletised goods to designated locations.Perform pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers regarding delivery status.Complete all required paperwork, including delivery notes and timesheets.Ensure the security of goods in transit and report any incidents or issues.Maintain a high standard of customer service during deliveries.
