About the Role

Pertemps Reading is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for a leading logistics firm in Reading. This full-time role offers a pay rate between £20.21 and £29.43 per hour, depending on shift patterns which include PM starts (12:00–16:00) with weekend work, and night shifts from 23:00. Duties involve store deliveries on regular routes with flexible start times and ongoing full-time hours. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, a valid DQC card, digital tachograph, and at least six months of HGV experience. A driving assessment and drug and alcohol test are required before starting.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers, on behalf of a world-leading logistics company, based in Reading.
The successful candidates will need to pass a Driving Assessment and a Drug & Alcohol test, prior to commencing the assignment!
HGV Class 1 Driver PAYE Pay rates/Start times:
PM: 12:00 – 16:00 Start (Rota will include weekend work)
- £20.21ph: Mon-Fri Days Basic
- £24.53ph: Overtime
- £26.93ph: Saturday
- £29.43ph: Sunday / Bank Holiday
Nights: 23:00 Start (Mon-Fri Rota )

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties will include:
- Store Deliveries
- Regular routes
- Flexible start times
- Ongoing work with full time hours
For this HGV Class 1 Driver position you will need:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- 6 months HGV experience
- DQC card and Digital Tacho Card
