About the Role
Pertemps Reading is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for a full-time, 3-month contract based in Theale, offering £20.50 to £22.50 per hour. Operating Monday to Friday on an AM start rota, you will deliver bulk powder efficiently while liaising with the Distribution Team and external customers. Prioritising health, safety, and environmental standards, you will collaborate with Transport Management to optimise routes. Applicants must hold a Class 1 Licence, Digi Tacho, and CPC. Tanker experience is preferred, though training is available. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Deliver bulk power safely and efficiently
- Liaise and build positive relationships with the Distribution Team and external customers
- Prioritise health, safety and environmental standards
- Work closely with Transport Management to optimise schedules and routes
To be considered for this Class 1 Driver role, you should possess the following:
- Previous Tanker experience (preferred) – training provided!
- Class 1 Licence, Digi Tacho & CPC
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Hard-working, positive attitude
