About the Role

The HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) role, based in Dover and paying £20.18 per hour, involves trunking, haulage, and distribution duties for a busy logistics operation. Full-time and part-time temporary contracts are offered, with shifts starting at 07:00 or 19:00, Monday through Sunday. Drivers will conduct daily vehicle checks, complete transport paperwork, and ensure adherence to Driver CPC and Drivers’ Hours regulations. A valid HGV Class 1 licence held for at least one year, plus six months’ Class 1 driving experience, is required. This position provides ongoing day or night work with weekly pay through Pertemps Maidstone.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence (minimum 1 year held)
Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver, HGV, HGV1 Driver, LGV Driver, Artic Driver, Transport Driver or Haulage Driver is advantageous
