About the Role

The role of HGV Class 1 Driver is available in Gloucester, offering a full-time, temp-to-perm position with a 4-on-4-off shift pattern. Ad hoc or part-time shifts are also available. The hourly rate is £16.21, with an additional £1.96 holiday entitlement, bringing total earnings to £18.17 per hour. Tramping roles are offered on the same shift pattern. Duties involve 1-3 drops per day using a curtain-sided vehicle, with loads forklifted on and off—no handball required. Candidates must hold a valid UK CE licence, along with current CPC and Digital Tachograph cards. A positive, professional attitude is essential. An immediate start is possible following a company assessment.

This role pays £16.21per hour £1.96 on top for holiday entitlement (taking the total earnings to £18.17) for day work and an immediate start for the right candidate. Tramping roles are also available on the same shift pattern
This role will include runs with 1-3 drops per day on a curtain side vehicle with no handball required as loads will be forklifted on and off. Role is available immediately for the right candidate providing you pass a company assessment.
The successful candidates MUST have:

Hold a full in date UK C E driving licence (Class 1).
Hold a valid in date CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
Positive & Professional 'Can Do' customer-facing attitude.
Be a team player, takes pride in keeping trucks clean & tidy.
Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements, Over the age of 21.

Weekly pay each Friday or Monthly pay last Friday of the Month.
