HGV Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a busy operation based in Coatbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent work, excellent pay rates, and flexible shift patterns.

Pay & Benefits:

• Day shifts: £14.74 – £18.10 per hour
• Night shifts: £16.58 – £22.13 per hour
• Night shift allowance: £25.06 per shift
• Paid holidays and pension contributions
• Weekly pay
• Modern, well-maintained vehicles

Shift Patterns Available:

• Days:
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Sunday to Thursday
• Nights:
• Thursday to Monday

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles on regional and national routes
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-use vehicle checks
• Ensuring all paperwork and digital logs are accurate
• Adhering to all transport legislation and health & safety standards

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C E) licence
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Container experience preferred but not essential
• Strong understanding of driver regulations and road safety
• Good communication and reliability
