HGV Class 1 Driver - Trunking and Multi-Drop - Warrington, CheshirePeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire.This is a fantastic opportunity for a HGV Class 1 Driver offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.Shifts: • Monday to Friday • AM starts between 04:00 - 06:00 • PM starts between 18:00 - 20:00Rates of Pay: • £17.39 per hour (Days) • £18.39 per hour (Nights)Benefits:Your benefits as a HGV Class 1 Driver will be: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Site canteen • Training provided • Immediate starts • Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties:As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your day-to-day duties will include: • Trunking depot-to-depot with occasional store deliveries • Operating and driving Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly • Adhering to traffic laws and transport regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements • Assisting with loading and unloading when requiredEssential Skills: • Valid UK Category C+E driving licence • Minimum of 6 months'' experience driving C+E vehicles • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes • Valid UK Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card • Good level of ..... full job details .....
