HGV Class 1 Driver - Doncaster, South Yorkshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Shifts • Monday to Friday• 05:00 starts Rates of Pay • £16.07 per hour (basic)• £24.11 per hour (after 48 hours)• £25.00 per night out Benefits Your benefits as an HGV Class 1 Driver will include: • Ongoing work• Weekly pay• On-site canteen• Training provided• Immediate starts available• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Carrying out RDC deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required)• Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensuring all loads are correctly secured• Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues• Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence• Minimum of 24 months'' experience driving Category CE vehicles• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• Good ..... full job details .....
