HGV Class 1 Driver - Rugby, WarwickshirePeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, weekly pay, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.This role would also suit candidates with previous experience as an LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, or Class 1 HGV Driver.Shifts: • Four on, four off rota (rota provided) • Night shifts • Start times between 18:00 - 20:00Rates of Pay: • Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour • Saturday: £20.00 per hour • Sunday: £22.00 per hourBenefits:As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Training provided • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties:As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Class 1 trailer drop and swap work between depots • Manual work with curtain-side trailers, including removing and replacing safety bars • Operating and driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections • Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly • Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations • Communicating effectively with the transport office and site teams • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirementsEssential Skills:To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: • ..... full job details .....
