HGV Class 1 Driver - Multi-Drop - Widnes, Cheshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire. This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for consistent day-shift work. Shifts • Monday to Friday (weekend work available)• AM starts between 04:00 - 08:00 Rates of Pay • £17.00 per hour (Monday to Friday)• £18.00 per hour (Weekends) Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates• Ongoing work• Weekly pay• On-site canteen• Training provided• Immediate starts available• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Class 1 multi-drop deliveries• Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently• Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections• Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly• Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements• Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills To be successful as a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence• Minimum of twelve months'' experience driving Category CE vehicles• No more than six ..... full job details .....
