HGV Class 1 DriverPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Halesowen.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, including temp-to-perm.This role is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver / Truck Driver / CE Driver.Shifts:Days: Monday - Friday: start times between 05:00-06:00 Nights: Sunday to Thursday: start times between 18:00-19:00Rates of Pay:Days:£17.00 per hour Nights: £18.50 per hourBenefits:As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Genuine temp-to-perm opportunities • Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties:As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):Depot-to-store delivery- maximum of two dropsCarry out a maximum of two store deliveries per shift using a pump truck or by toting pallets off as requiredCarrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring all loads are secured safely and correctlyAdhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedulesEssential Skills:As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category CE driving licence • Minimum of two years'' experience driving Category CE driving experience • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Good spoken and written EnglishTraining: • ..... full job details .....
