HGV Class 1 Driver - Solihull People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver - Solihull to join our well-established client based in Solihull, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-known supplier of household goods with plenty of ongoing work available. Shifts: • Monday to Friday: start times between 03:00 and 06:00• Weekend availability if required Rates of Pay: • Monday to Friday - £17.00 per hour• Saturday - £18.00 per hour• Sunday - £19.00 per hour Benefits: Your benefits as a HGV Class 1 Driver are: • Excellent hourly rates• Ongoing work• Weekly pay• Overtime available• On-site canteen, vending machines, and pool tables• Training provided• Temporary to permanent opportunities• Immediate starts available• Early finish on Fridays• No weekend working required• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Operating and driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly• Adhering to all traffic laws and transport regulations• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers• Maintaining accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel usage• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements to management• Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential Skills As a HGV ..... full job details .....
