Operating and driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locationsPerforming pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhering to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicating effectively with dispatch and customersReporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential skills: To be successful as a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category CE Driving LicenceA minimum of twelve months'' experience driving Category CE vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codesA valid UK CPC card and Digi cardGood spoken and written EnglishPunctuality and excellent time-keeping skillsA solid understanding of traffic laws ..... full job details .....
