HGV Class 1 Driver- Nights

THE ROLE Driver Hire Oxford is recruiting an experienced Class 1 (HGV) Driver on behalf of our client. Working with a distribution company where no day is the same! This is a great opportunity for a reliable, safety-conscious driver to join a busy distribution operation, delivering a consistently high standard of service to customers across the region. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a Class 1 HGV to deliver goods to customer sites on time and in full Carry out daily vehicle walkaround checks and report any defects promptly Complete all delivery paperwork accurately, including PODs and vehicle records Load and unload goods safely, using manual handling equipment where required Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse staff, and the transport office Maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition throughout each shift WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence Current Driver CPC and digital tachograph card No more than 6 penalty points (no DR/DD/IN convictions) Minimum 12 months'' recent Class 1 driving experience Good working knowledge of drivers'' hours and Working Time Directive regulations Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including early starts and weekends WHAT''S ON OFFER Competitive hourly rate, paid weekly Immediate start for the right candidate Opportunity for temp-to-perm placement for the right candidate Consistent, regular work with a ..... full job details .....
