HGV Class 1 Driver Night Trunk (Double Man)

Responsibilities:- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a truck or van, to transport goods and materials to designated locations- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured for transport- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents or injuriesExperience:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver or delivery driver- Valid commercial driver''s license (CDL) with a clean driving record- Experience with flatbed trucks is preferred but not required- Familiarity with local roads and routes in the area of operationSkills:- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations- Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle in various weather conditions and terrains- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan routes and manage time for timely deliveries- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of cargo- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team membersPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional ..... full job details .....
