HGV Class 1 Driver

Role: HGV Class 1 DriverLocation: Aston, BirminghamSalary: 18 - 24 per hour We are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 drivers for a new contract in Aston, Birmingham. The role involves bulk delivery of food, with shift patterns consisting of Tuesday - Saturday on mid morning starts. The work itself is very straightforward and involves no handball, with generally good length shifts.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles- Ensuring transport office is kept up to date with delays- Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in the correct order- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations- Ensuring all site safety rules are followed rigorouslyCandidate Requirements:- Valid UK driver''s license- Up to 6 point for minor offences- Previous experience in a similar role- Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamSalary/Benefits- 18 - 24 per hour, depending on which days/shifts you work.- Option to have holiday pay included within hourly rate or held back- 24hr dedicated on call serviceIf you are interested in applying for the role please call Ciaran at our Walsall office. ..... full job details .....
