We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 1 Truck Driver to join our logistics team. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their products on time. Responsibilities Conduct pre-trip inspections of Operate flatbed lorries safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations. the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while adhering to traffic regulations. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are safely transported. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road. Skills Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Good communication skills for liaising with team members and clients. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
