HGV Class 1 Driver Location: Rugby, Warwickshire Hours: 45-60 hours per week Salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum Employment Type: Temp to Perm (12 weeks) Licence Required: Class 1 (C+E) - ideally held for 6+ months, but applications from new passes are welcome We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client s team in Rugby. This role primarily involves trunking and delivering goods to stores and distribution centres, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. The Role: General haulage of a range of goods. Collections from other sites. Trunking from depot to depot when required. Work can be timed deliveries so time keeping is key and communicating any delays is a big part of the job. Some handball will be required to unload the vehicle for the stores. 2 weeks of training and inductions for drivers with less than 6 months experience. Experience and Qualifications: Full UK C+E licence. Valid Driver CPC and Digi Card. No more than 6 points for minor offences. Strong timekeeping skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
