HGV Class 1 Driver Location: Bootle, Merseyside Salary: From 34,320 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Our client is a well-established and growing organisation seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join their team based in Bootle. Key Responsibilities Carry out collections and deliveries to customer sites throughout the UK. Ensure all transport activities are completed in line with current legislation and company procedures. Complete daily vehicle safety inspections and report any defects promptly. Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation. Ensure all relevant paperwork and records are completed accurately. Assist with loading, unloading and general site duties when required. Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times. Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers and suppliers. Working Hours Minimum 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Overtime available during evenings and weekends. Regular nights out may be required depending on business needs. Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence. Driver CPC qualification. Strong understanding of driver hours and transport regulations. ADR licence desirable but not essential. Previous experience in a similar driving role preferred.
