HGV Class 1 Driver (Holiday Cover)

Working hours: Various shifts available - Monday to Friday
Minimum daily pay: 8 - 12 hours per day guaranteed

About the role

The Recruitment Group are hiring for a Class 1 Driver. As a Class 1 Driver you would be working for one of our clients based in the Brigg area, completing deliveries and collections as required. We are looking for drivers with a minimum of 1 years’ experience driving a class 1 vehicle. You will be paid a minimum of 8 hours per day, even if the client does not require the full 8 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and in accordance with road laws
• Completing collections and deliveries across assigned routes
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring timely and accurate completion of paperwork
• Communicating with transport managers and site contacts as needed

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Must be able to provide copies of:
• Driver’s licence
• CPC card
• Tachograph card
